Introducing: HSR Grayson Hilands, Grullo Colt

SOLD:  HE LIVES IN STATESVILLE, NC

Our mare Southforty Simply Perfection, foaled a beautiful grullo colt on June 8, 2018 at 12:45 am.  This boy is beautiful!  To say marked up is an understatement!!  He has cobwebbing on his forehead, very distinct darkening on his shoulders, and stripes down his legs and the dun stripe down his back.   Everyone has commented on his eyeliner also!  Very Unique!  I had a very well known breeder tell me that she has never seen one marked up like he is.  This color is quite rare in the association.  Most grullo's end up carrying silver also; it's harder to get a grullo without silver.    He is most definitely stallion material.  Raise him up and see for yourself the ease with which he can be raised by you.

This boy is ready for a new home. He leads and ties, and is very mannerly, good with his feet also and easy to worm.

We have received his Rocky Mountain Assoc papers back.  He is registered as HSR Grayson Hilands.   He can also be registered KMSH.

Stay tuned for newer pics.  This boy is turning out gorgeous!  He has the prettiest head and you can tell how sweet he is by his expression.  As soon as it quits raining, I will get some new ones of him.

First pic below was taken Feb 2019.  Just look at this boy.  I have had a lot of inquiries on him but everyone is waiting on better weather to come see him.  Don't wait too long-this boy is gorgeous and is going to be such a great boy.

KMSH RED CHOCOLATE FILLY

FOALED 6-14-2018

SOLD:  SHE LIVES IN NARROWS, VA

This beautiful girl arrived during the early afternoon, down by our pond, in the shade.  She is a beautiful red chocolate; her body will stay a deep red and her mane and tail will lighten up to a flaxen color. She is super friendly and likes attention. We have had numerous foals from this pairing and they have all been nicely gaited and easily trained by their owners. We expect her to reach around 14-2 to 15 hands based on parents heights.  She is already very leggy so looking more towards 15 hands upon maturity.

She is eligible for KMSH registry.  Her lineage is all KMSH and Rocky Mountain but dam is only registered KMSH so she will be also. Please contact us today for more info.

This girl is gorgeous! She has really darkened up and looks very dark red, sooty red chocolate.  The contrast between her coloring and the white mane and tail is just fantastic!

SALE PENDING!  BUT DO CONTACT ME IF YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IF SALE FALLS THROUGH.

HSR REMINGTON STEEL (REECE)

FOALED 6-20-2018

Blue Roan Colt (color tested)

SOLD-RESIDES IN MEDINA, INDIANA

This beautiful colt foaled outside with his maiden mom.  She has been a wonderful mother and keeps him close at hand.  He is quite a looker and is a little spitfire.  Loves to run around and keep mom chasing after him.  We had to color test him as we didn't know if he was blue roan or black.  He is a blue roan and will be a looker as he grows!!

The dam is our mare, MF Gail's Joya de Tejas and the sire is Remington East.  He is going to be a looker!  Our foals from this stallion have been nice forward horses that like to keep up with others on the trail.  They usually don't worry either if they are by themselves.

He did not last long.  I had a deposit on him at 2 months old and he left for his new home Feb 9 in Indiana.  I know they are going to love this boy.  He is starting to shed now and is showing a nice blue color underneath all that hair

THIS BOY WENT TO HIS NEW HOME IN INDIANA FEBRUARY 9, 2019.  HE SETTLED RIGHT IN WITH THE HERD AND ONE OF HER MARES TOOK RIGHT UP WITH REECE.

First Times a Charm (Charm)

Foaled June 13, 2018

Smoky Silver Grulla Roan

Not for Sale at this time

May be the only one with these

color genetics in the Association

This girl is just gorgeous!   Her sire is Alliances Gone N Dun it and Dam is our mare Rhapsody In Blue.  This was a maiden mare and the first time we have bred to this stallion.  What a foal we have produced!  She got every color that she could get, 1 copy of silver, 1 copy of dun, 1 copy of roan and 1 copy of cream and no red gene.  She has a nice dun stripe, ear tipping, stripes on her legs and her body is a white/cream color.  Mane and tail are white. Cannot wait to see what this girl looks like as she matures.  Even though most ppl say that cream does not change them, I can usually tell when a horse carries cream.  I think it changes the coloring just a little bit.

She is doing well with her training now; she leads and ties and loves to be groomed.   She is quite the lovebug-always comes up and wants attention.  Cannot wait to see what she looks like this spring-right now she is SOOOO furred up!  I think she has the most hair of any of our horses-EVER!! lol
