We have one foal due in May 2021. The sire is our black stallion, Blue Knight, who has sired numerous foals in his 15 years. The dam is our silver grulla roan mare, MF Gail's Joya De Tejas (Tia-pic on mare page). The color combinations range from black to grulla's and more colors in between. Either way this foal will be a looker and will come out gaiting as both parents are very strongly gaited.

Stayed tune for updates. Foal will be for sale upon weaning.

HSR SHE'S A WHO 'DAT HONEY

DUE TO COVID AND BUILDING A NEW HOME WE DID NOT GET TO WORK WITH THE FOALS AS MUCH AS WE NORMALLY DO. I WILL BE GETTING THEM READY FOR NEW HOMES IN THE SPRING. RIGHT NOW THEY ARE JUST ENJOYING BEING WITH THEIR NEW BUDDIES IN THE FIELD.

Our KMSH mare, Little Mischevious Baby, foaled a beautiful bay filly on 3-24-2020. She arrived early in the morning and was up and running around when we found her. She is very tall and has to duck under mom to nurse. She has no white and already has the blackest mane and tail I have seen on a newborn. The sire is our Rocky Mountain/KMSH stallion, Blue Knight. The filly will be registerable as a Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse. We are calling her Honey. She looks to be what ppl refer to as a sooty bay. Boy isn't she gorgeous?

This girl is just gorgeous! Her sire is Alliances Gone N Dun it and Dam is our mare Rhapsody In Blue. This was a maiden mare and the first time we have bred to this stallion. What a foal we have produced! She got every color that she could get, 1 copy of silver, 1 copy of dun, 1 copy of roan and 1 copy of cream and no red gene. She has a nice dun stripe, ear tipping, stripes on her legs and her body is a white/cream color. Mane and tail are white mixed with tan and brown; very unique. Cannot wait to see what this girl looks like as she matures. Even though most ppl say that cream does not change them, I can usually tell when a horse carries cream. I think it changes the coloring just a little bit.

This girl has the prettiest head on her and her mane and tail are very thick and such unique colors. She is going to be a knock out and gaiting! She gaits everywhere!
